Levante midfielder Jefferson Lerma is undergoing a medical at Bournemouth on Wednesday ahead of a club record €30m move.
Sky Sports report the Colombian international has arrived on England’s south coast ahead of the move, with the English transfer window closing in two day’s time.
According to BBC Radio Solent, Lerma will have a medical with Bournemouth this weekend, subject to personal terms being agreed and the approval of a work permit.
The 23-year-old made 93 appearances for Levante in three seasons, scoring three goals, and played in all four of Colombia’s games at the World Cup.
The Cherries have already signed one player from Spain this summer in former Leganes left-back Diego Rico.
