West Ham turn attention to Sanabria

West Ham United missed out on signing Real Betis striker Loren Moron but now have their sights set on his teammate Antonio Sanabria, say reports in Spain.

ABC de Sevilla say that while the Paraguayan striker is held in high value at the Seville-based club, they would be willing to sell for upwards of €25m.

The 22-year-old joined Betis on a permanent deal from Roma two summers ago and scored seven goals in his first 11 matches last season before suffering a knee injury, side-lining him for four months.

Due to an agreement with the Italian club, Los Verdiblancos would receive just €14m from such a sale, who has been watched by English scouts in pre-season.

The Hammers previously held an interest in Loren Moron, who then signed a new deal with Betis, and are also in negotiations with Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez.
