New Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal insists he has arrived at the club to ‘win everything’ and believes he can thrive at the club.
The 31-year-old Chile international has joined the Catalan giants from Bayern Munich in a deal said to be in the region of €20m.
“The objective is to win everything, to have the highest standards,” Vidal told an interview with Barcelona club media.
“I have come here to win every trophy that we can and I am prepared to give my all on the pitch so that we can do this.
“I am so excited to arrive here, to have the opportunity to play alongside great players like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets.
“What will I offer? A lot of spirit and fight, to bring something to the defence and the attack and to be a team-player.
“Now, I cannot wait to get started.”
