Valencia are understood to be in negotiations to bring Leicester City winger Demarai Gray to Mestalla.
A report in Marca reveals that Los Che director of football Pablo Longoria met Walid Bouzid, who works for the agency that represents Gray, in the Hotel Marriot in Leicester this week with a view to securing the player’s signature.
The left-winger is an integral part of boss Claude Puel’s future plans for the Foxes, who are understood to have rejected an offer of €30m for the England Under-21 international from an unnamed club last season.
The publication has it that Longoria and Walid spoke for around half-an-hour, with Valencia known to be openly searching for a wide man in the transfer market.
A loan with an option to buy would be the Spanish club’s preferred agreement, although as Leicester are reluctant to part with Gray it is unlikely they would receive any encouragement on that front.
