French clubs Lyon and Marseille are both interested in signing Sevilla defender Simon Kjaer, according to reports.
ABC de Sevilla cite a report in ESPN of the interest from the Ligue 1 duo in the central defender, whom Los Rojiblancos signed from Fenerbahce a year ago.
The 29-year-old did not enjoy a vintage season with his club but a series of impressive performances with Denmark at the World Cup are thought to have sparked interest.
The report continues that Lyon are keen to find a replacement for Valencia-bound Mouctar Diakhaby but do indicate Kjaer is happy with life in Sevilla.
