Lazio midfielder and reported Real Madrid target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic admits he is ‘content’ with remaining at his current club.
The 23-year-old was a key part of the Serbian national squad who were dumped out of the World Cup on Wednesday following a 2-0 defeat to Brazil.
“I need a little bit of rest now,” Milinkovic-Savic told Italian TV Mediaset.
“I’ll return to Rome and I would be happy if I stay at Lazio, as I’m content there and I have a contract.
“I read something different in the papers every day, but I haven’t thought about it yet. First I’ll rest for a bit, then we’ll see.”
The Italian club have reportedly quoted a staggering €150m fee for the talented midfielder.
