Milan are set to make midfielder Alen Halilovic their first summer signing after the conclusion of his 18-month loan deal at Las Palmas, say reports.
Spanish-based journalist David De las Heras has confirmed the Croatian has arrived in Milan on Thursday morning to undergo a medical with the Rossoneri.
The 22-year-old left Barcelona in the summer of 2016 to join Hamburg, where he failed to impress before joining Los Amarillos six months later.
Halilovic joined Barca from Dinamo Zagreb in 2014 and also spent the 2015-16 season on loan at Sporting Gijon but has failed to reach the potential shown earlier in his career.
On Thursday, Sportitalia linked the Croat with a move to Udinese but instead it looks like he is set for Milan – who have been banned from European competition for one season after breaching UEFA Financial Fair Play rules.
Sky Sport Italia and calciomercato.com report the nine-time capped midfielder will pen a three-year deal at the Milanese giants.
