Real Madrid are the only club who could sign in-demand Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer, according to reports.
Sky Sport Italia say the 23-year-old is valued between €120m-150m by the Rome-based club and the European champions are the only club in a position to meet that valuation.
“I understand all the interest, because he’s good,” Lazio President Claudio Lotito told Radiosei on Monday.
“However, none of us, myself especially, has ever put him up for sale.”
Milinkovic-Savic netted 14 goals and provided nine assists in 48 competitive games last season, earning him a starting spot at this summer’s World Cup.
Juventus – another club linked to the Serbian – are hoping to include players as part of an exchange deal to lower the cost of the operation.
