Napoli have confirmed that they will pay Fabian Ruiz’s €30m release clause and are only waiting for the ‘all-clear’ from the Real Betis midfielder.
Fabian has been heavily linked with Napoli for some time, and President Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed to Corriere dello Sport in his native Italy that a deal could go through ‘at any moment’.
“We’ll pay Fabian’s release clause,” he told the newspaper.
“We’re just waiting for him to give the all-clear, which could be at any moment.”
The 22-year-old, who made 34 appearances in La Liga for Los Verdiblancos last season, only signed an improved contract with the club at the end of January.
