Espanyol, Deportivo and Malaga have all made moves to appoint former Villarreal Coach Fran Escriba this summer, say reports in Spain.
Escriba was dismissed from his role with the Yellow Submarine earlier in the campaign while El Mundo Deportivo report he is at the top of Espanyol’s desired managerial targets.
Quique Sanchez Flores was sacked at the RCDE Stadium last month after just two wins in 15 games with David Gallego appointed on an interim basis until the end of the campaign.
Valencia-native Escriba has already been approached by Deportivo and Malaga, who will be seeking a new Coach in summer, but he has no desire to manage a side in Spain’s second tier.
