An emotional Alvaro Medran lamented being ‘unfairly treated’ at Alaves while crying after Sunday’s 4-0 victory over Las Palmas.
The 24-year-old, on a season-long loan deal from Valencia, scored his side’s third goal in the victory but after heading home he appeared emotional and this was replicated in his post-match interview.
“It's been very tough for me since December,” a tearful Medran told Gol TV, as cited by ESPN FC.
“I've worked a lot. I believe I've been unfairly treated.”
Medran joined Valencia from Real Madrid in the summer of 2016 but has started only 19 La Liga games across Los Che and Alaves since.
