Inter have made Villarreal midfielder Roberto Soriano a priority target for the summer transfer window, according to reports in the Spanish press.
Diario AS states the Milanese giants have made enquiries for the 27-year-old who has won eight caps for Italy and reportedly would be open for a return to the country.
The Yellow Submarine signed the central midfielder in a €14m deal from Sampdoria two years ago and, despite a fantastic first season in Spain, his role has had less significance this term.
With this in mind and with Soriano picking up two separate injuries this season, Villarreal are said to be open to a move should the Nerazzurri match their asking price.
