Deportivo La Coruna striker Adrian Lopez confessed he has ‘thought about’ relegation but insists the team ‘believes’ in La Liga survival.
Clarence Seedorf’s side are four points off safety and Levante – who have played one game fewer – but have gained seven points in their last three matches, with Adrian netting four times.
“We have thought about relegation of course, but we believe we can avoid it,” Adrian told Onda Cero.
“When you are in a battle like we are you keep both possibilities in your mind to help you fight for salvation, but we are now competing and that is important.
“We now have a good dynamic and we believe we can continue to get closer to Levante and boost our chances of survival.
“The win at San Mames boosted us emotionally and gives us real hope.”
