Vincenzo Montella wants to remain at Sevilla next season but confessed a ‘release clause exists’ in his contract with the club.
The Italian joined the Andalusian club in December but his side have gained just 18 points from 15 league games as his future comes under increasing scrutiny.
“I’m happy here and I have a contract for next season,” Montella told reporters at a press conference.
“It’s true that a release clause exists, but I don’t know it well. You should ask the President.
“I’m only thinking about coaching the team, but I’d like to continue my adventure at Sevilla.”
