Barcelona have identified Lazio midfielder and Spain international Luis Alberto as a potential replacement for Andres Iniesta, say reports.
A report in Gazzetta dello Sport states the Catalan giants sent scouts to watch the Spaniard in Sunday night’s goalless Derby della Capitale draw against Roma.
Iniesta is said to be leaving the Camp Nou for the Chinese Super League this summer, with the Blaugrana keen to identify a replacement.
Alberto, who has 10 goals and 16 assists this season, netted 11 times in 38 appearances for Barca’s B team whilst on loan from Sevilla back in the 2012-13 season.
