Valencia have met with the agent of midfielder Andreas Pereira and wish to sign him on a permanent basis, say reports in the Spanish press.
Diario AS state that Los Che met with Kia Joorabchian a fortnight ago and the club are said to have clarified their desire to sign the Manchester United man outright this summer.
His future is said to be complicated as the Brazilian is open to staying at either club and Jose Mourinho wants the midfielder in his first-team squad for next season.
However, Pereira’s contract at Old Trafford expires in June 2019 and the Red Devils are posed with two options – offer him a new deal, which he is likely to sign, or sell this summer.
The 22-year-old has played 25 matches for Valencia this campaign – 19 in La Liga – but his future remains in the air.
