Vincenzo Montella is relishing Sevilla’s current run of fixtures and is ‘not worried in the slightest’ regarding his side’s physical condition.
Los Rojiblancos visibly tired in the latter stages of their clash with Barcelona on Saturday, as they surrendered a two-goal lead, ahead of hosting Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.
“Obviously, when you are competing at a high level across three competitions, as we are, it saps mental and physical energy; but I really love that this is our situation,” Montella said, as cited by ESPN FC.
“We aren't yet quite used to playing ultra-high level matches every three days and we need to be.
“However, the physical stamina of our squad doesn't worry me in the slightest, and especially not our motivation.”
