Villarreal have decided against exercising their purchase option for on loan striker Carlos Bacca at the end of the season, say reports in Spain.
The Colombian striker has netted 12 goals in 35 appearances for the Yellow Submarine this campaign and are said to hold a €15m option to sign him permanently from Milan.
However, a report in Marca now suggests this deal is off the cards as the European hopefuls are not willing to shell out such a sum for the former Sevilla striker.
It is not yet clear if the club would be willing to pay a lower fee for the 31-year-old or if they have readjusted their plans for their attack.
