Getafe climbed into the top half of La Liga and extended Deportivo La Coruna’s winless streak in La Liga to 12 matches with a 3-0 victory.
Angel Rodriguez opened the scoring in the 40th minute before Eneko Boveda inadvertently netted an own goal four minutes later to condemn Depor.
Jorge Molina added a third goal for the hosts eight minutes from time in rain-soaked conditions, to make it four games without a win or even a goal for the Galician’s boss Clarence Seedorf.
Depor remain 19th in the standings and two points adrift of 17th-placed Levante, while Getafe move into 9th.
