Tottenham ‘are willing to sell’ defender Toby Alderweireld, a reported target for Real Madrid, this summer after contract talks broke down.
A report in The Times states the 28-year-old is demanding a wage increase to £150,000 per week, which the North London club are not willing to contemplate.
The former Atletico Madrid defender has a current deal at the Premier League club until June 2020 but reports states that includes a £25m release clause which can be triggered from 2019.
That has led to Spurs being willing to cash-in on the Belgian international this summer, according to the report.
Alongside Madrid, English sides Chelsea and Manchester City are also eyeing-up the centre-half.
