New Deportivo La Coruna Coach Clarence Seedorf has described Zinedine Zidane as ‘an inspiration’ for young managers.
The Dutchman, who was appointed at the out-of-form Galician club, pointed to the Madrid Coach as why clubs should put more trust in the ‘next generation’ of managers.
“Zidane is a fantastic example and inspiration for a new Coach,” Seedorf told his news conference on Tuesday.
“He probably had even less experience when he took charge of Madrid than what I do now, but his personality and understanding of the game was so crucial in his success.
“It is not easy to be a Coach in football, because there are many more than the number of jobs available and that is why you have to be thankful for opportunities like this.
“Clubs need to trust young people, in the next generation, and I am so happy to be back in the league which helped start my top career.”
