Manchester City forward Larry Kayode’s proposed move to French club Amiens is expected to go through despite an administrative error.
The Nigerian striker failed to score in a four-month stint with Girona, for whom he made only 12 appearances and just two starts.
The 24-year-old was a predominant figure at Vienna before joining City, making 48 appearances and scoring 24 goals, including five in the Europa League qualifying rounds and group stages.
Kayode was one of five City players on loan at the Catalan club but his move to Amiens is widely reported to be an initial loan deal with a compulsory purchase included in June.
