Sevilla have completed the signing of Everton forward Sandro Ramirez on loan for the remainder of the campaign, it has been confirmed.
The 22-year-old joined the Merseysiders in a €6m deal from Malaga last summer but has failed to settle in the Premier League, where he has failed to score in just three starts.
The forward scored 16 times in 31 appearances for Malaga last season after leaving Barcelona, and he has now returned to La Liga until summer, with Sevilla also holding an option to buy.
It is reported such an option stands at €9m, but most reports indicate this will not be compulsory and will be at the Andalucian club’s discretion.
The news ends Sevilla’s pursuit of Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi and Sandro becomes their third signing in the space of two days, following the arrivals of Miguel Layun and Roque Mesa.
