Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is the ‘best goalkeeper in the world’ according to Barcelona teammate Lucas Digne.
The German shot-stopper has conceded only five goals across 17 matches in La Liga and the Champions League this season and produced another fine display against Juventus during the 0-0 draw in Turin.
“Ter Stegen is the best goalkeeper in the world at the minute,” Digne is quoted as saying by Marca after the game.
“He is playing at a world class level and in my opinion there isn’t anyone currently better than him.
“It was fantastic to qualify as group leaders of course, as a lot of hard work has gone into this situation but now we aim to keep improving.”
