Valencia midfielder Andreas Pereira is considering remaining at the club beyond this season and doesn’t want to return to Manchester United in January.
The Brazilian has started four La Liga games under Coach Marcelino since signing a season-long loan deal at the Mestalla in August, although United have an option to recall him in January.
“For me this would be a very good option and would help my game,” Pereira told Super Deporte.
“I am happy at this club and want to continue here, I always wanted to stay here until June…I know United have an option to take me back in January but right now my mind is focused here.
“It’s important that I continue to grow and improve at this stage of my career, if I returned to join Manchester United in the middle of the season it would be tough for me to improve like I am now.
“I always knew that I’d made the right decision in the summer and my only aim is to continue here.
“Everything is going well and everyone, like Guedes, wants to stay.”
