Villarreal took full command of their Europa League group with an accomplished two-goal victory away at Slavia Prague.
Carlos Bacca opened the scoring for Javi Calleja’s side in the 15th minute and the points were wrapped up late on as Simon Deli put through his own net for the hosts.
The Colombian scored his second in as many games with a composed bicycle-kick finish for the Yellow Submarine before the unfortunate own goal with a minute remaining adding gloss to the victory.
Next up for group leaders Villarreal is a trip to second-placed Astana after the Kazakhstani side recorded a victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv.
