Manchester United have contacted Andreas Pereira regarding a January return to the club from Valencia, according to reports in Spain.
The Brazilian midfielder moved to the Mestalla late in August, against the wishes of United boss Jose Mourinho, in order to gain more first-team football.
However, the 21-year-old has started only four of Los Che’s 10 La Liga outings to date, mainly due to the form of Goncalo Guedes and Carlos Soler.
This has led to a report in Valencia-based Plaza Deportiva which states the English club have contacted the playmaker and he is open to a January return should his playing time not increase.
The form of Geoffrey Kondogbia and Dani Parejo has further limited game-time for Pereira – who has scored one goal so far this season.
Last season he started 34 matches for Granada but these numbers will not be replicated this campaign for high-flying Valencia, who are unbeaten this season.
