Las Palmas have announced the signings of Loic Remy on a two-year contract and Oussama Tannane on a season-long loan.
A statement on Las Palmas’ official website confirms Remy passed a medical on Thursday, having released himself from his Chelsea contract, and will land in Gran Canaria on Friday evening.
He will then join up with his new teammates for the first time at the club’s training complex on Saturday, before being presented to the Press at 12:00 BST.
The 30-year-old, who can also play out wide, played for the likes of Nice, Olympique Marseille and Newcastle United prior to signing for Chelsea in 2014.
He also represented France at the 2014 World Cup but was no more than a bit-part player for the Blues in three seasons, although he did pick up a Premier League winner’s medal.
Las Palmas have also brought in Morocco winger Tannane from Saint-Etienne on loan with an option to buy.
Despite starring in the Eredivisie with Heracles, he struggled for form and fitness in his year-and-a-half with the Ligue 1 club.
