Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira is no closer to joining Valencia on loan despite reports, according to Marca.
The Madrid-based outlet were one of a number of sources on Sunday night to state a season-long loan agreement had been confirmed between the clubs.
However, on Monday morning they have reported the Brazilian is still at his home in Manchester and is not yet aware he will be moving to the Mestalla.
Pereira is said to want first-team football this season and whilst he is far from a regular at Old Trafford, the Jose Mourinho has promised him a prominent squad role this season due to the club’s heavy schedule.
However, the 21-year-old has not yet featured for the Red Devils this season, nor even made the bench, and a temporary move may now be likely.
