Sevilla have ‘never stopped negotiating’ for the signing of Inter striker Stevan Jovetic this summer, according to president Jose Castro.
The Montenegrin striker netted six goals in 21 appearances for Los Rojiblancos after a loan deal with the Milanese club in January but despite negotiations earlier this summer, no agreement for a permanent move was found.
“We have never stopped negotiating with him,” Castro told radio show El Larguero.
“There are possibilities to bring him here but, as Coach Eduardo Berizzo said, there are also other options.”
The Andalucians have already signed forwards Nolito and Luis Muriel this summer to compliment Wissam Ben Yedder.
