Sevilla Coach Eduardo Berizzo admits he ‘would love’ if the club could bring in a striker ‘of the level’ of Stevan Jovetic.
The Montenegrin striker netted six goals in 21 appearances for Los Rojiblancos after a loan deal with the Milanese club in January but despite negotiations earlier this summer, no agreement for a permanent move was found.
“We want to add another striker to the squad, it is no secret” Berizzo is quoted as saying by Marca.
“Ideally we would like someone with power who can complement the players and qualities that we already have.
“There have been a lot of talk surrounding Jovetic's signing and yes there are alternatives, but I would love if we could bring in someone of that level.”
The Andalucians have already signed forwards Nolito and Luis Muriel this summer to compliment Wissam Ben Yedder.
