Burnley are hopeful of a deal to sign Deportivo La Coruna striker Florin Andone this summer, according to reports.
Spanish media cite a report in The Daily Mirror which states the Clarets have turned their attention to the Romanian international after the departure of Andre Gray to Watford.
The 24-year-old hit 12 La Liga goals in his debut season for the Galicians after a €4.7m move from La Liga 123 side Cordoba last summer, while the Premier League side have reportedly lodged an offer of €13m.
Depor are desperately short of strikers – Andone was the only registered striker before the loan arrival of FC Porto’s Adrian Lopez last week, with the club still hopeful of signing Arsenal forward Lucas Perez.
