Villarreal are closing in on a deal for Milan striker Carlos Bacca although Sevilla still retain hope of a late deal, say reports in Spain.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Yellow Submarine have agreed a loan deal with the Rossoneri with an obligation to buy for €16-18m included.
However, Estadio Deportivo pick up on reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport that Sevilla have not yet given up hope of a similar arrangement although are reluctant to commit to such a high compulsory option.
The Colombian is reportedly in Spain to sort out his future although no deals have yet been finalised as his two-year spell at the San Siro looks set to come to an end.
Bacca, who turns 31 next month, scored 49 goals in 108 appearances for Sevilla in his first spell between 2013 and 2015, winning back-to-back Europa League titles.
