Deportivo La Coruna have confirmed the signing of FC Porto forward Adrian Lopez on a season-long loan deal.
The 29-year-old has spent the past two seasons on loan at Villarreal, but has managed only six La Liga goals across the two campaigns as he played a bit-part role.
Prior to this agreement, Romanian striker Florin Andone was the only recognised forward in Depor’s squad, while they are still working on a deal to re-sign Lucas Perez from Arsenal.
Lopez spent five years with Depor at the beginning of his career before joining Atletico Madrid, with whom he won the 2014 title.
However, he has netted only 36 league goals throughout his career with only seven in his last four seasons.
