Atletico Madrid forward Rafael Santos Borre is set to join River Plate after last season’s loan spell at Villarreal, say reports.
Marca site a report in Argentine-based Tyc Sports which states River will make the signing official after the approval of boss Marcelo Gallardo.
Los Rojiblancos signed the Colombian forward in 2015 from Deportivo Cali but he has not made a first-team appearance in Madrid, instead being loaned back to the Colombian side before a season-long stint at Villarreal.
The 21-year-old netted four times in 30 appearances for the Yellow Submarine last season and his move to Argentina looks set to be another temporary deal.
