Inter Coach Luciano Spalletti has hinted Stevan Jovetic’s exit from the club is inevitable as he wants guarantees that the club cannot match.
The 27-year-old has featured for the Nerazzurri in pre-season but looks set to exit the Milanese giants this summer with Sevilla keen to sign the forward.
“Can Jovetic stay? Some play can’t stimulate themselves: either they play or disagree with playing for their place,” Spalletti told a press conference ahead of a pre-season clash with Bayern Munich.
“They want to be guaranteed a certain number of games, but I can’t do this. Therefore, it’s best to speak clearly right away so problems can be avoided.”
The Montenegrin international reportedly wants to join the Andalucians after a loan spell last season but earlier this month his agent confirmed he was growing impatient with negotiations.
Jovetic netted six goals in 21 appearances for Los Rojiblancos after a loan deal with the Serie A side in January.
