Reports in England claim Marco Verratti could leave Paris Saint-Germain but for Manchester United, not long-term suitors Barcelona.
Sport cites the Daily Mirror as saying United are hopeful of taking advantage of the club’s positive relationship with Verratti’s new agent, Mino Raiola.
Raiola is the representative of Romelu Lukaku, who has just joined United from Everton and Paul Pogba, who returned to Old Trafford from Juventus last summer, as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who had a successful 12 months under Jose Mourinho at United.
United would offer €80m for Verratti after being rejected by Chelsea for Nemanja Matic.
