English Championship club Wolves are set to loan Atletico Madrid forward Diogo Jota who spent last season at Porto, say reports.
The 20-year-old netted nine goals in 37 appearances for the Portuguese giants last season but despite returning to Los Rojiblancos for pre-season training, he is expected to be loaned out once more.
According to The Express and Star, the attacker flew into England on Thursday night and is set to undergo a medical at the second tier club on Friday.
Jota played under new Wolves Coach Nuno Espirito Santo – former Valencia boss – at Porto last season and the two are apparently keen to be reunited.
The Midlands club have close links to superagent Jorge Mendes and already have five Portuguese players – Helder Costa, Ivan Cavaleiro, Ruben Neves, Roderick Miranda and Ruben Vinagre.
Atleti signed Jota from Pacos de Ferreira a year ago before immediately returning to Portugal on loan.
