Real Madrid have rejected an opening offer from Italian champions Juventus for full back Danilo, according to reports.
Diario AS have followed up on reports in La Gazzetta Dello Sport which state the Bianconeri lodged a bid of €15m for the Brazilian defender, although Madrid are hopeful of reclaiming more of the €31m they paid FC Porto in 2015.
Los Blancos are said by AS to be holding out for a minimum of €25m for the 25-year-old although even with add-ons, it appears unlikely Juve will increase their offer to such a level.
Max Allegri’s side are on the lookout for a new right back after Dani Alves terminated his contract at the club as he looks set to join Manchester City.
Danilo has made 40 La Liga appearances across two seasons at the Bernabeu but has failed to impress in his stint, where he has largely been an understudy to Dani Carvajal.
