Alaves have confirmed the signing of Real Madrid midfielder Enzo Zidane, son of Coach Zinedine, on a three-year deal.
The 22-year-old made his first-team debut at the Bernabeu last season, replacing Isco in the 13-2 aggregate win over Cultural Leonesa, when he also scored from the edge of the box.
"Deportivo Alaves wants to welcome Enzo Zidane and wishes him the best of luck for the new season,” read a statement on the Alaves website.
It had been rumoured the midfielder, who is also known as Enzo Fernandez, would join the Basque club a year-long loan deal but the deal has been confirmed as permanent.
Enzo appeared in 78 games for Madrid's Castilla reserve team, scoring seven goals with 15 assists, and is the eldest of Zidane’s four children.
