Ever Banega’s return to Sevilla from Inter is ‘very close’ but ‘not done yet’ according to the Argentinean midfielder’s agent.
Marcelo Simian admitted the two clubs were finalising a €9m deal for the 28-year-old to return to Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan a year after he left for northern Italy.
“Banega will go to Sevilla, there’s nothing with Paris Saint-Germain,” Simian explained to Seville-based Estadio Deportivo.
“The deal is not done yet, but we’re very close. Everything seems to be going in the right direction.”
The former Valencia man spent two seasons at Sevilla, winning back-to-back Europa League titles and appearing in 59 La Liga matches for the club.
