Former Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Patrick Kluivert has ruled out Marco Verratti leaving the Parisians for Barcelona this summer.
The 24-year-old Italian midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou this summer and whilst Kluivert acknowledges the player wants to move, he does not believe the Ligue 1 giants will sell.
"I know the president very well and I also know that Verratti wants to go to Barcelona, but PSG will not let him leave," Kluivert told La Sexta.
"He renewed his contract last year and it will be very difficult [for Barca to sign him].
"Verratti's worth more than that (€70-80m), I think he's worth more than €100m."
The former Dutch striker left his role at the Parc des Princes earlier this summer and replaced by Antero Henrique.
