Cristiano Ronaldo will be in a Spanish court on 31st July to testify following allegations of tax evasion from prosecutors.
According to Cadena Cope, the Portuguese superstar will appear at 11am (CET) to make a statement in relation to the allegations.
Ronaldo is accused of defrauding the Spanish state of €14.7m in taxes, although the player and his representatives have always maintained total innocence.
"Sometimes the best answer it's to be quiet,” the 32-year-old captioned a pensive photo of himself shared on instagram last week, following on from his brief statement on Wednesday that he had ‘a clear conscience’.
