Italian champions Juventus are edging closer to a deal for Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, according to reports.
Claims in Tuttosport state the Bianconeri have ‘accelerated’ talks for the Frenchman with Juve hopeful of finalising the deal ‘as soon as possible’.
The former Blackburn and Stoke midfielder has a €40m release clause in his contract at Estadio Sanchez Pizjuan while sporting director Oscar Arias admitted he ‘couldn’t do anything’ to stop N’Zonzi leaving should this be met.
The report claims the two clubs are deep in discussions over the structure of the deal, suggesting there could be an agreement in the region of €30m with further instalments included.
