English Championship side Leeds United are set to appoint former Spanish international Thomas Christiansen as their new manager, say reports.
The Danish-born former striker scored one goal for La Roja in two appearances in 1993 after joining Barcelona B following a youth career in Denmark.
Christiansen went on to have a distinguished career in Spain including stints at Sporting Gijon, Osasuna, Racing Santander, Oviedo and Villarreal.
The 44-year-old has had spells in charge at Cypriot duo AEK Larnaca and APOEL Nicosia but now looks set to replace Garry Monk at Elland Road, according to various reports in England.
