Paris Saint-Germain’s insistence that Marco Verratti is not for sale has made the midfielder’s situation ‘very complicated’, according to his agent.
Donato Di Campli has told Sky Sport Italia he has informed the French giants of his client’s intention to move, although the Parisians have reportedly informed Marca that Verratti "is not €80 million or €100m, because the player is not for sale."
"We'll have to see, it's very complicated but we have informed PSG of our ideas," Di Campli said.
"It's nothing to do with Barcelona – it's about projects. I feel that I am managing a champion and champions need to win, so I am asking questions that I think anybody in my position would.
"Many clubs try to sign players who are already under contract elsewhere, even those who have signed long-term contracts. This is how football is and we need to accept it.
“If PSG do not want to sell him despite having offers from all over Europe, then we would just have to take that on board.
"An Italian return? That's too complicated for the finances of their clubs."
