Alvaro Morata has held talks with Manchester United but the ‘decision rests’ with Real Madrid, according to the striker’s agent.
Juanma Lopez confirmed the club’s proposal as ‘very important’ and ‘very interesting’ and seemed to suggest it was now a case of Los Blancos accepting an offer from the English giants.
"They (United) are a club with great glamour, a very interesting option,” Lopez is quoted as saying by Calcio Mercato.
"I can say that their proposal is a very, very important one and now the decision rests with Real.
“Is the deal near completion? I cannot say but we will see soon.”
Reports earlier this week suggested Morata – who scored 15 La Liga goals in just 14 starts last term – had made his intentions of a summer move clear to Madrid.
