Sevilla are reportedly facing an exodus of technical secretaries, with one of them set for Leeds United.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Dani Salas – in charge of recruiting players from Portugal and South America – “is destined” to join up with Leeds’ new sporting director and former Sevilla technical director, Victor Orta
The English club are in the process of restructuring after recently being taken over by Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani.
Orta was Monchi’s right-hand man at Sanchez Pizjuan between 2006 and 2013, before spending time at Zenit St Petersburg, Elche and Middlesbrough.
Salas’ fellow secretary Miguel Angel Gomez is also expected to leave Sevilla.
Gomez is considered the “brain” of the club’s technical secretariat and put together the Sevilla Atletico team that are set for a mid-table finish in Segunda this season.
However, Estadio Deportivo claims he no longer “feels as valued as he should.”
Monchi [pictured] ended his 17-year spell as Sevilla sporting director in April and has since been appointed by Roma.
