Antoine Griezmann has suggested that he will stay at Atletico Madrid next season after hinting his commitment to the club is stronger “more than ever”.
Griezmann’s tweet came the same day that Atleti’s summer transfer ban was confirmed by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and Manchester United’s interest in the Frenchman reportedly cooled, with a new striker to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic now a priority.
“Now more than ever Atleti, all together,” he wrote.
Mundo Deportivo adds the Frenchman will sign an improved contract with Los Colchoneros and postpone his departure until next summer at least.
