Villarreal have signed Turkish striker Enes Unal from Manchester City for a reported €14m and extended Daniele Bonera’s contract by a further year.
Enes has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Villarreal after passing a medical on Wednesday afternoon.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Twente, scoring 19 goals in 33 games for the Dutch side.
However, City have reportedly retained a €20m buyback clause if they wish to re-sign the player.
The Yellow Submarine have also announced that Bonera will play with them for another season.
Despite making only 26 appearances since 2015, the veteran defender is considered a favourite at La Ceramica, while his new deal coincided with him turning 36.
